Made in Brazil - Nubuck is made from grain leather. The upper part of the skin, which has the thickest fibres makes it soft, resistant and highly qualitative. This part is grinded or scraped to give it a soft and velvety appearance. Nubuck leather is traced during the whole process. It is also coated with water-repellent oils to protect the sneakers from light rain. The tanneries working with VEJA are certified by the Leather Working Group.
Advice
– Machine washing is strongly discouraged to preserve the shape and properties of the material.
– Clean nubuck leather dry using a suitable brush.
– Then apply a moisturizing and renovating product specifically for nubuck.
– Optional: waterproof your shoes with a product suitable for the material.
– Renew the waterproofing every 3 to 6 months.
– Let them dry naturally, in the open air and in the shade, away from any heat source to avoid discoloration
